Growing in Faith and welcome to the Church that meets in St Matthias

The Parish of Treharris, Trelewis & Bedlinog - Growing in Faith covers the communities of Edwardsville, Treharris, Quakers Yard, Trelewis & Bedlinog.

The Parish Church is St Matthias Church in Treharris and is situated between Oaklands Terrace and Bargoed Terrace in Treharris.

Treharris is situated in the South Wales 'Valleys'; about 15 miles north of Cardiff on the A470, and 8miles south of Merthyr Tydfil.

 The Parish is part of the Merthyr Tydfil Area Deanery  and the Archdeaconry of Morgannwg and a part of the (Anglican) Church in Wales.
