Treharris Boys/Girls Club was on BBC Wales on 3rd March 2009 - TREHARRIS Boys club founded in 1923 by the Miners of Treharris Deep Navigation Colliery, is the oldest Boys Club in Great Britain.  Re-built in 2005 and renamed Treharris Boys/Girls Club, it is now a Social Enterprise and Registered Charity serving the whole community, while retaining its links with the young people in the area.
